Update and maintain 60+ UX Standards to comply with continuously changing code base, updated visual design branding, accessibility conformance, business requirements, and basic application architecture.

Responsibilities

Established the Wells Fargo Wholesale UX/UI SaaS Standards and Guidelines (60+ standards) by interviewing stakeholders and department leads to gather system requirements. 

These standards complied with SaaS application architecture, UX standards, visual design branding, accessibility conformance, content requirements, and a continuously evolving (agile) code base. 

Implemented WordPress for documentation and worked with developers to integrate custom plugin functionalities. 

What was accomplished

Updated legacy standards work to meet new requirements.

Drafted new standards to fill in requirement holes.

Created Standards templates to maximize readability and ensure consistency across Standards documentation.

Organized and ran meetings with department leads to finesse and approve standards.

Created a process to maintain standards.

Designed the Standards site architecture and website layout.

Created standards users cases and stories.

Worked with Front-end developers to design and integrate WordPress functions to navigate readers to relevant standards.

1. Mockups created for WordPress Standards site
Created lo fidelity mockups to help guide developers when building the new Wells Fargo Standards website.  Mockups include anticipated site architecture and layout for different sections and areas.  Designed to aid all those creating Wells Fargo applications to build standardized applications that met with updated code standards.  Each standard was versioned based on the code base it was realized in.








2. Sample Standard: Selecting Stuff
Created and maintained over 60 UX/UI standards that complied with SaaS application architecture, UX standards, visual design branding, accessibility conformance, content requirements, and a continuously evolving (agile) code base.  Developed the following sample standard called "Selecting Stuff" which calls out which type of selection tool one should use based on a the list you are providing to the user.
